After the first 10 minutes I could see that it made utterly irrelevant the following tools; speed square, squangle, t-bevel square and combination square. It also nearly obliterates a torpedo level!!!

This was a gift for my son-in-law. He is a professional carpenter. The first day he took it to work, everyone wants it!

Backer no. 68 here, Just got my Roofus pro today. Been a long wait but that’s how these kickstarters work. Couldn’t be happier with it. From the sturdy build to the size and the accuracy with minimal movement is absolutely fantastic. 100% worth getting.

I’ve had the chance to play with mine for a while now. It’s fantastic. Getting angles right has been a total headache for me, but now i feel like I’ve got really good control, and it has extended to critical processes, like setting up bevels on saws. Measuring with the roofus is simple and physically easy, the sliding lock (once I learnt which direction to rotate it) is easy to use and locks securely.
